Raising kids seems like a lot of work just for the distant possibility that I could make someone else give a shit about my favorite records.
The 00s and 10s don’t feel like distinct decades to me like the 80s and 90s. Is it my age? The early millennial numbers? Or is it too soon?
The email at the bottom of my inbox is two years old today. I didn’t make time for the thoughtful reply it deserves. Its sender is now dead.

Dreamed I went back to college and moved into a dorm to take just one class. Woke up before my inevitable social and academic DOMINATION.
For 2017: I’ll continue to surround myself with people who are smarter than me, and I’ll aim to be better about sharing my own knowledge.
Starting off the new year with 3.74 miles at 7:28/mi.

Many thanks to all for yesterday’s birthday wishes! I watched movies and sang songs, as I expect to do on each of the rest of my days.
I guess I had a good run.
Closing out my 30s with a pulled hamstring.
