Eight years ago, I narrowly edged out a kid called Airistotle to become @usairguitar’s first Philly champ. Now that kid is the world champ.

After three 2nd place @AGWC finishes, Airistotle (@aYo_MattBurns) is finally your 2016 Air Guitar World Champion!

Huge congrats to Airistotle (@aYo_MattBurns) on becoming the first ever three-time @usairguitar champion!

Took 4th place at the @usairguitar Northeast Semifinal behind Airistotle, Ricky Stinkfingers, and Smiley Rod, who all advance to the Finals!

Airistotle (@aYo_MattBurns) is your 2012 @usairguitar Champion! Our little guy is (sort of) all growed up! I am beaming with pride.

There are two things that make New York City one of the toughest markets in US Air Guitar:

1. The staggering amount of top tier talent, both local and imported, and

I like adjectives that are both crystal clear and totally vague.
