Housed in a former showroom for mausoleums, the Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art (PhilaMOCA) is an independent venue catering primarily to fans of underground music and film. Its high-contrast black and white visual identity draws inspiration from the austere aesthetics of some corners of the late ’70s post-punk movement, and its logo illustrates the pleasant paradox of the brand: This is a mausoleum that’s full of life.
